One Room Challenge - Week 2!

Welcome back to Happy Hour!  It’s week 2 and it feels like it has been a month, sooo  I’m gonna need to slow my roll.  So for today’s cocktail, it’s my favorite , Tension Tamer tea.

You know that feeling you get when it’s almost a favorite holiday and you can’t wait for it to get here, but then there’s that panic of “oh crap it’s almost here”?!  Well that’s my week.

So where am I in all this design biz??  DEMO!! 

With the help of my handy dandy hubs, we ripped (carefully removed, but ripped sounds more fun) the pedestal sink out.  Last week I shared that this is brand new construction (if you didn’t read, check it out… wish I could be clever like others and have a link that would take you to it, but that would send me over the edge).  Anyway, there must have been 3 feet of flexible hose from the wall to the faucet shoved back there!  Overkill and not needed for the diy’ers out there.  

 I’m happy to report that all was removed with minimal mess and no water leaks!! 

You should have seen us though (dang.. pic here would have been good Nancy). 

I don’t know if it’s Covid brain or the fact that we’re getting old, but we cracked ourselves up.  Between my husband’s headlamp and me constantly losing my glasses, our creds should have been checked prior!

So this is where we are… just a lone man standing..all exposed. 

I have to admit, as much as I am not a fan of the pedestal sink, it sure did help in there.  Oh well, RIP “Peddy”  .
